My favorite book is titled Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See.

http://blogs.davenportlibrary.com/reference/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/snowflowermed.jpg

It's about two girls--Snow Flower, the daughter of an aristocrat--and Lily, a peasant and they're unusual friendship from their childhood to Lily's death. It's about jealousy, power and most importantly--friendship.

The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother are awesome.

I used to watch Ugly Betty now but I don't as much now. Project Runway too.

Oh, I have no idea. I think Taiyou no Uta. But for English movies it has to be Toy Story (I know, I know) or Juno.

Step One

-- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

-- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

-- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

-- Surf around your friendslist (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

-- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

I'm gonna post to show you guys that I'm alive. I'm feeling better to walk downtown but I'm cautious of what I eat.

Today I went shopping for school clothes today (I was in desperate need of some). I got three news  jeans and six new tops at Macy's. It only cost $52 with all the coupons and discounts my aunt gets from working there. Then, we went to Payless and got a new pair of flats and a pair of sneakers (cuz they were on sale).

I need to go update fanfics now. bye bye! <3

I watched the season finale of this show last night. Not something I usually watch but I love shows about competitive sports. Ever since, then I can't stop listening to this song called We Are Golden by Mika, I jogged from my house to Milenium Park listening to this song.

My mom dragged me out of the house tonight instead of me staying at home while she went to her doctor's appointment.

And she wants me to go to this building party with her but Make it or Break It is on tonight and Michael Jackson's death was just ruled a homicide and CNN just ruled it a primetime special! OH BOY!~

I'm watching TV tonight if I have to escape from the party!

latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2009/08/lethal-levels-of-anesthetic-propofol-killed-michael-jackson.html

This didn't come to a shock to me as it did to his fans. I went on a MJ forum and people were angry but surprised. Even with so much speculation weeks prior they were so surprised by the confirmination of a theory that seemed pretty realistic to me. I guess with dealing with some many rumors running about they don't believe barley  anything anymore.

I hope they nail the doctor--esp because he left three kids.

Today and yesterday I tried watching this Spanish telenova.
Yeah, it didn't work. I could barely understand anything.
The noyl reason I watched it was because it had an actress I liked in it.
I could understand the plot well enough to know it's about two teenage spies named Valentina and Sebastin (sp?). >_<;

Only two weeks of summer left! Today I got some minor things done, called people, sent a letter to my childhood friend in Croatia, and ran on the tredmill. I also got some ideas for Science Fair (which starts in mid October).

*Sigh*

Off to write!
